Job Title - Forecasting Analyst

Introduction to Role:

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in improving the quality of decisions taken on our assets and across our Disease Areas? We are seeking an Analyst for our Global Analytics & Insights team, focusing on supporting the analytics and forecast for oncology products. This is your chance to be part of a leading business that impacts lives across the world!


Accountabilities:

As an Analyst, you will support forecast modelling, performance report and data analysis under the direction of GA&I Senior Analysts, Associate Directors, and Directors. You will update forecast model assumptions, generate scenarios and sensitivities, and provide analysis on forecast assumption changes over time. You will also develop a good understanding of the way oncology patients are treated and move through the treatment pathway by stage and line of therapy. Your role will also involve data consolidation from various primary and secondary sources and contribute to the development of tumour level forecast guidance.


Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a science or mathematics discipline


  • 2-4 years of forecasting experience in pharma industry or consulting sphere


  • Experience in advanced forecasting, performance reporting, primary and secondary data analysis


  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, strong numerical and analytical skills


  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.


  • Current or previous oncology experience is required.


Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Experience of working with a pharma product close to launch or post-launch


  • RWE analysis experience (e.g. claim data analysis, ATU analysis)
