Job BriefThe Fleet Data Manager will help lead a division of analysts that engage with all fleet business units within the US-based Fleet Mobility area of bp, TravelCenters of America (TA). We are looking to fill the position with an expert, hardworking and dedicated professional who will provide data and analytics to drive strategic transformation.
Duties and Responsibilities- This role is the domain guide for all data related to Fuel, Fleet services, Food services and Commercial Amenities, such as truck repair and loyalty programs, for TA. This includes understanding relationships between data sets stored in SAP products and Oracle databases.
- Work with Fleet Data Advisors as a direct communication contact for senior business unit leaders regarding sensitive data and analytics requests from Finance, Legal and Tax departments.
- Administrator for Data Lake (Snowflake), Data Governance platform (Informatica Marketing Cloud) and Master Data Management system (Syndigo). The role will work with the technology security team as well as technology data engineers to ensure all data is stored and accessed safely.
- Reviews and monitors the progress of the project to ensure that tasks and work are completed in accordance with the requirements of the business using the ServiceNow and Jira platforms.
- Maintains technical data quality control and provides operational expertise in the areas of Retail sales, Food sales, Truck Repair Service, Fleet Customer services, and Marketing programs.
- Leads the day-to-day execution of several projects giving to the analysis, development, and implementation of any data requested which is performed by the Fleet Data Advisors and their teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
- 15+ years of business management, strategy, or consulting experience
- Experience leading multi-functional teams
- Solid functional knowledge, including, but not limited to Alteryx, PowerBI, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP BW, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Informatica, Snowflake, Syndigo.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with the ability to work with senior level executives and entry level analysts.
- Initiative taker, willing to break down barriers and build opportunities. Must be willing to take personal risk with the organization always at the forefront.
