Financial Close Senior Analyst

  • Job Summary
  • Financial Close Senior Analyst is responsible for Monitoring critical month-end close processes and jobs.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of essential close processes, including revaluation, allocations, consolidations, and management reporting.
  • Worldwide lead for Genera ledger allocations process.
     Responsibilities
  • Leads system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, and user training, ensuring successful and timely completion.
  • Leads and/or offers specialized expertise to functional project teams, spearheading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to address moderately to highly complex issues and devise effective resolutions.
  • Monitors and enforces system security measures, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal control requirements, and regularly reviews access permissions and segregation of duties.
  • Conducts system analysis and feasibility studies to assess the potential impact of system changes or enhancements on financial processes and operations.
  • Collaborates with internal and external auditors during financial audits, provides necessary documentation, explains system processes, and controls, and addresses any audit findings related to financial systems.
  • Provides advanced system training and support to end-users, acting as a subject matter expert for complex system functionalities and troubleshooting.
  • Leads system testing and quality assurance efforts, coordinating with users and IT teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial system outputs.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
  • Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

    Education and Experience Required
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in finance, internal audit, or a related field.
