How will you make an impact in this role?


The position shall be responsible for managing the team of people providing Procurement Operations & Payment Related Services including Vendor Onboarding, Query Management, Purchase Order and support to the Stakeholders.


  • Apply unique skills and interests to develop new opportunity domains. Deliver high quality and accurate results in a timely manner
  • Analyze the existing environment and derive opportunities, recommend alternative solutions to technical problems.
  • Proactively anticipate/identify issues, and control deficiencies, through testing processes monitoring, assessing the impact of each, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate mitigating action plan.
  • Successfully manage time pressure, work against deadlines, and deliver strong results on schedule; prioritize based on customer or business need, urgency, and/or importance; effectively integrate and align with internal business partners and team members.
  • Maintain internal control / operational risk competency through ongoing training and professional development including direct reports.
  • Challenge team to ‘raise the bar’ and drive continuous improvement. Build talent pipeline by identifying steam members with high potential for succession planning and coaching
  • Undertake regular project work analyzing business risks and exposures. Preparation of recommendations to leadership & stakeholders with regards to process improvement, best practices, risk reduction as appropriate.
  • Manage critical business relationship & engage stakeholders as and when necessary
  • Implement Control to ensure no fraud or inaccuracy in the Vendor setup process
  • Ensuring that process queries are handled within specified timelines with a strong hold on the sentiment.
  • Drive continuous process improvement (Reducing the average resolution time) and address any service deficiencies.
  • Timely and efficient monitoring of key service delivery metrics and identifying any gaps or process failings around productivity and quality metrics.
  • Continuously determines the optimal distribution of workload within the context of the team resources and skill sets and to identify source and recommend the redeployment of additional resources as may be required to meet customer requirements.
  • Incumbent should have sound knowledge of operational metrics, dashboard reporting, driving SLA driven deadlines
  • Excellent executive presence with strong communication skills including presentation, verbal and written communication, fluency in English a must.
  • Customer interface with experience and ability to proactively anticipate customer needs and identify their specific requirements.
  • Frequent contacts with internal/external customers and other company representatives at all levels of management.
  • Ability to drive team cohesiveness, collaboration, and cooperation within team and cross functionally in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive intelligence from data and take/ facilitate business decisions.
  • Should be flexible to work in the shift environment.
  • Customer orientation /ability to empathize with the customer.
  • Demonstrated ability towards troubleshooting and query resolution.
  • Must be detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:


  • Graduation/post-graduation with minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in handling procurement & payment process.
  • The candidate having prior experience of handling team, is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint, Familiar with procure to pay process flow.
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner, Eye for detail.
  • Able to meet deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills, Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Candidate with prior experience of managing procurement operations and client relationship will be preferred.
