As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. As an analyst on the Cards Finance team, you provide strategic analysis to help senior executives manage and plan the business's financial profitability. You handle monthly and quarterly forecasts, CCAR stress testing, earnings press releases, and annual budget reporting. You also lead financial projects and prepare key analyses for leadership presentations, using your analytical skills to deliver clear insights and support the business's strategic direction.


Job Responsibilities 


  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting.
  • Proactively analyze trends, research issues, and respond to inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with other CFO teams, CCB Tech team, and Cards business leadership.
  • Provide detailed financial results and an overview of the Cards P&L to senior management.
  • Conduct analyses to understand variances and incorporate them into financial commentaries.
  • Deliver informative business financial information and coordinate business financial planning and budget management.
  • Partner effectively with risk, controllers, and marketing teams.
  • Present results and recommendations clearly and concisely. Demonstrate strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Apply excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit confidence with finance and accounting concepts.
  • Comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Minimum 1 year in Finance/Accounting, management consulting or other financial/analytic roles
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or other related majors, CFA a plus
  • Knowledge of Essbase, Alteryx and Tableau will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro, Essbase and SQL (preferred)
