Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION


  • Coordinate with IT and lead SAP/ERP enhancements providing expertise for system and functions
  • Provide the Functional needs to IT and support them in the process of Developing and testing.
  • Coordinate the internal efforts to create a single outcome for those possible solutions requested by the function.
  • Support Controllership and Finance function in general with those SAP issues that day to day appear and provide a solution before to open a ticket if it is possible.
  • Support IT basis team about new roles requested or new employees onboarding regarding Finance roles.
  • Support Treasury with assigning the New GL accounts for banks and also blocking those that are not in use any more.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SAP expertise job


  • Review the errors send by the users to provide a possible solution, before to open a ticket.
  • Gathering business requirements and work with IT to provide enhancements and solution over the business needs.
  • Understand the business scenarios and provide that explanation to IT, to perform the solution.
  • Manage with IT priorities within project timelines
  • Conduct orientation/education sessions for end users when is possible
  • Coach end users in the use of the SAP proposed solution.
  • Review GL account balances to ensure the blocking process when is necessary

2. ROLES IN SAP and SOD analysis.


  • Understand the role of each request.
  • Approved or reject those roles that base in the Role of the user can create SOD conflicts
  • Explain to end users when the role is rejected, the reason why, and also involved the GPO’s and Internal Control manager when is necessary.
  • Use Tcodes like SUIM or SU01D and also the understand information in Success Factor
  • Being able to compare users’ roles and request removed roles when those are in SOD conflict

MAJOR SKILLS



1. SAP and other functionalities Skills


  • Basic Navigation Orientation in SAP
  • Understand the flow of the information in SAP ECC environment.
  • Understanding relationship between FI and CO and also with other Modules like SD or MM
  • FI basic functionalities like open periods, load exchange rates, review table, manage SE16N Tcode (to review major tables in SAP.
  • Blackline tool is part of Finance system landscape and knowledge in the tool is preferred

2. PROJECT COORDINATION/MANAGEMENT SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Project Management technics are desirable, to follow up those open projects with the IT teams.

3. Core Skills


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in all the sub modules of Finance and Controlling
  • Experience in Support (L2 and L3) and guiding the users
  • Worked in implementation projects in all phases of the Project.
  • Expert in the documentation of AS-IS process and recommended the standard solution in SAP

4. Other skills


  • PMP Knowledge
  • Interpersonal relationships

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related major


Experience Required: Minimum 5yrs experience
