Finance Operations:


  • Work closely with US Finance Operations Leader to drive performance and manage a high-performing finance team.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure success of the Finance Operations USI team.
  • Accountable to US functional leads (AR, Billing, AP) for the quality of service provided by USI team.
  • Lead negotiation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with firmwide and functional leaders.
  • Identify and assess issues, manage risks, and provide guidance for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and performance.

Process Improvement and Innovation:


  • In partnership with US functional leads, regularly assess and enhance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to boost accuracy and speed.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Billing, Accounts Payables, and Accounts Receivables, including the use of AI and automation technologies.

Team Leadership and Development:


  • Build, nurture, and lead a high-performing Finance Operations team in USI.
  • Offer mentorship, training, and career growth opportunities for team members.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture within the Finance Operations group in USI.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and knowledge-sharing.

Talent Retention & Budget Management:


  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to optimize and enhance talent acquisition.
  • Lead the onboarding process, manage goals, and provide ongoing feedback in partnership with US functional leads to manage attrition.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews in collaboration with function leads.
  • Negotiate and manage compensation.
  • Review and manage the annual budget for Finance Operations in USI.

Client Service and Relationship Management:


  • Ensure high levels of both internal and external client satisfaction through proactive communication, effective problem-solving, and regular feedback review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS


  • Graduation in BCOM/BBA or any other similar field
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA) preferred

EXPERIENCE


  • 10-12 years of progressive experience in Finance Operations or comparable experience – Required
  • Proven experience with Workday – Preferred
  • Professional services experience – Preferred

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, resourcefulness, and client service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS


  • 5+ years’ experience managing staff - Required
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and engaging stakeholders, building collaborative relationships while managing conflicting priorities - Required
  • Demonstrated ability to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement, and serve as a model of change - Required
  • Strong communication skills; Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the firm - Required
  • Able to motivate, inspire and develop individuals and teams to collaborate and deliver to their highest potential - Required
