Finance Executive


Essential Functions


  • Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly financial variance reports
  • Manage the revenue recognition process in compliance with contract terms
  • Coordinate with senior accountants on the completion of quarterly audit schedules
  • Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the team
  • Review, understand and ensure compliance and proper accounting
  • Detailed forecast analysis including Budget versus Actual spending and Forecast verses Actual spending.
  • Annual Budget planning preparation and development
  • Assist leaders in researching and identifying budget corrections and work with others to implement change
  • Forecast accuracy reporting
  • Support and implement “Best in Class” reporting
  • Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations
  • Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communication
  • Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting
  • Monthly & quarterly report generation and analysis with the account team
  • Run day to day reporting and forecasting activities
  • Maintain and enhance reporting
  • Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze performance data to forecast/trend
  • Coordinate and track the cost savings initiatives for the region, both Strategic portfolio management and Operational savings.
  • Manage the cost center closeout process.
  • Review expense details for accuracy and compliance with corporate guidelines
  • Respond to owner requests for financial information
  • Develop, maintain & deliver in a timely manner, the Client’s approved financial formats across the region

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)


  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and excel in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven presentation skills
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to collaborate across many levels
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to solve problems
  • Strong organization and coordination skills
  • Excellent level of customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / interpersonal sensitivity
  • Adaptive Insights experience, a plus

Minimum Required Certifications, Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.CPA and/or MBA is a plus
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret associated legal documents (i.e. contracts, leases)
  • Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven presentation skills
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PeopleSoft
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
