In this role, you will be based in our Gurugram office as part of the Finance team.
The team is engaged in a variety of critical domains that require consistent accounting and finance expertise. Your primary focus will be to support the Controllership and Business Partnership activities within the Finance function, while also contributing to audits and planning initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities that require a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and tax concepts. You will ensure compliance with regulatory timelines, including MCA filings, FEMA requirements, withholding taxes, and other statutory obligations. Additionally, you will serve as the office point of contact for expense reimbursements and collaborate with Global Operations and CSTs to ensure smooth processes and adherence to organizational standards.
You will also support key finance projects that focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting real estate cost reviews, developing multi-year office growth models, evaluating vendor costs, and assessing payment terms. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage finance and accounting tasks such as inter-company analysis, TDS payment reviews, P&L reviews, and non-client code assessments.
A critical part of your role will be managing month-end activities to ensure the timely closure of accounting books. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your work. You will work closely with Firm Treasury to maintain adequate funding for business operations and review monthly balance sheets, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve open items.
You will also partner with Global Operations and other teams to manage vendor invoice accounting and payments. Additionally, you will act as the office point of contact for statutory audit requirements and work with the corporate tax team to ensure compliance with all regulations. Beyond your operational duties, you will maintain expertise in your area of specialization and assess how changes impact practices and policies.
You will collaborate with internal clients to drive process improvements, prepare business cases, and support various stages of project lifecycles. This includes preparing functional specification documents and testing scenarios. To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across teams to achieve organizational goals.
