KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE                                                                                                                                     


1             2 to 5 years practical experience on high power diesel engines and their applications, MTU engine experience would be an added advantage.                                                                   


2             Good knowledge of engines in terms of installation, operation, maintenance & repair.                                                                                                           


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES                                                                                                                        


1             Ability to converse in English, and good computer skills would be an added advantage.


2             Strong drive & initiative, with the ability to work under pressure.                             


3             Able to work independently, good problem solving and analytical skills.  


4             Familiar with ISO 9001 standards and the quality management system                                  


5             Good customer service skills and ability to gel with diverse teams.                                          


6             Ability to write technical reports.                                                                                        


KEY ACCOUNTABLITIES:


1             To undertake independently the commissioning, installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, repair/overhaul of MTU products at site in accordance with MTU manuals & specifications


2             Resolve technical matters & complete services according to the work order & the acceptance of the customers.                                                                                                              


3             To carry out investigation and make suitable reports.                                                                  


4             To handle the customer relations: participate in meetings with customer. Understanding their requirement with patience and empathy. Communicating with them to determine their future requirement. Improve customer satisfaction index by taking the feedback form. Establish direct customer contact and promote brand image by performing the regular service campaigns, interaction in retaining the customer confidence.                                  


5             To assist service partner in carrying out their duties.                                                                    


6             Coordinate and interact with Customers at various levels.                                                         


8             To develop and update his own skills and knowledge, to meet the job requirements through training & self-learning. Responsible for support operation in evaluation and implementation of action plans to eliminate root cause of non-conformances, provide leadership and support for the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities throughout the organization                                                                                                         


9             To advise, instruct & train the new team members in carrying out assigned tasks, in using MTU documentation, tools, customers drawings etc. for the tasks.                                             


10           Prepare part list and technical reports.                                                


11           Strictly adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when performing work at customer's site or in house.                                                                                                                 


12           Adherence to Company Policy and Procedure (CPP).                                      


13           Special assignment from time to time.


Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Automobile Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
