Role Summary:


This position will support in the site commissioning service and repair jobs of all types of pumps.


Position Requirement:


  • DME (or) BE Mechanical Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in commissioning, repairs, service activities of industrial pumps, turbines, compressors, seals or any other rotary equipment.


  • Hands-on experience in carrying out service, trouble shooting, repairs, commissioning of equipment in oil & gas sectors, refineries, power plants, water markets is required. Extensive traveling throughout the year is essential.


  • Candidates should be energetic, proactive and highly customer centric. Proficiency over different languages will be added advantage. Should be willing to travel extensively on short notice. Should be self-driven, hands-on in the field, lead the team from front.


Responsibilities and Requirements:


  • Carry out installation, commissioning activities of pumps at customer places and on- site repairs.


  • Perform in-house and on-site repairs & service activities.


  • Ensure customer expectations are met as per engineering standards.


  • Provide technical help and training to Technicians and Fitters.


  • Perform hands-on work to ensure pump repair jobs are as per requirement.


  • Co-ordinate with internal and external customers effectively.


  • Extensively travel for domestic jobs and overseas field service work on a continuous basis as required.


  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the work performed at site.


  • Should be able to use measuring instruments efficiently.


  • Ensureworksarecompletedas per customer requests on time and in most economical ways.


  • Develop/Adopt new Techniques & procedures.


  • Establish safe and proper work area. Respect and follow all the safety requirements.


  • Self-starter, perform hands on in the field, lead the team from front, believe in the teamwork.


Preferred Profile:


  • Candidate with prior experience in service, commissioning, repair activities of pumps are preferred.


  • Hands on good Experience in rotary machines (preferably centrifugal pumps) and knowledge of API engineered pumps.


  • Experience in serving customers in oil & gas, power, water and other general industries.


  • Should be ready to travel extensively.
