About the Role
The Field Account Manager (FAM) is a sales position, responsible for partner Relationship and Retention for LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and solutions in an assigned territory or industry-specific vertical. This role will be responsible for identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities of existing partner, working with the Sales and Professional Services Team to bring deal to closure as well as monitoring accounts for renewals for proactive engagement with the partner.
Responsibilities
Responsible for partner relationship and retention and grow key services within existing partner/customer base
Proactive selling and retention of products to existing partners/customers in order to achieve and exceed established sales revenue and other performance targets
Conducting appropriate consultative selling processes including product demonstrations, presentations and tender responses
Actively monitor partners for renewal and engage with partners to limit cancellations
Provide partner training in an ad hoc fashion or coordinate with corporate trainers as needed
Create and provide usage reports to customers per agreement with the partner
Facilitate document translations as needed
Requirements
Required level of education: BS / BA or equivalent
Experience: 7-10 yrs proven sales/sales support experience
Ability to close a sale and Work experience in a professional sales environment is desirable
Strong organizational, time management and forecasting skills
Understanding of professional research process and having the ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of LexisNexis Risk Management products and solutions, and how they apply to the customer's needs.
Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanour, business maturity, and technical knowledge
Able to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goals
SalesForce knowledge a plus
