Job Purpose The incumbent is expected to record and monitor a patient’s vital signs. Promoting well-being by educating patients on self-care techniques. Consulting with Senior Resident Medical Officer to determine the optimal treatment plan.
Reporting to Senior Resident Medical Officer 
Job Type Contractual – non-teaching

Internal- Staff, Students

External- All stakeholders of the Institute.

Location Candidate is expected to work in IIMB both Bannerghatta Road campus and Jigani campus as per the institutes requirement.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities 

• To assist in the administrative activities of the health center.
• Patient data management.
• To maintain consumables stock.
• On calls 24/7 and reporting the same to Senior Resident Medical Officer.
• The work will be on a shift basis. 
• House visits on emergency basis.
• Assisting the Senior Resident Medical Officer in all clinical procedures.
• Administration of emergency medication as advised by Senior Resident Medical Officer.

• Wound Dressing
• Injections IV/IM
• Nebulization
• Vitals Monitoring
• Good communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate across levels of management and executives in a professional as well as appropriate manner.  The candidate is expected to have good communication skills in both English and Kannada (Oral and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office, e-mail, electronic scheduling, handling databases.

Qualification and Personal Profile

• Diploma in Nursing.
• A candidate with the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) Diploma would be preferred.
• Candidate should have minimum clinical experience of 3 years. 
• Candidate working or experienced in Tertiary care hospital – Emergency department are desirable.

Compensation The indicative annual CTC will be in the range of Rs. 5.1 Lakhs to 5.6 Lakhs. The compensation will be fixed based on candidates experience and qualification and will be as per IIMB Contract Appointment Rules
