A Day in the LifeOur Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
Medtronic is hiring a Extract Transform Load (ETL) developer, As a ETL developer you will be a key member of the Master Data Management team and you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing of Extract Transform Load strategies and pipelines. As a Extract Transform Load (ETL) specialist you will have hands on experience in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, IICS. As a key developer you will integrate external systems with Master Data Management (MDM) using ETL techniques.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Design the development of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, mappings, and workflows, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.


  • Develop IDQ mappings and data for data cleansing, standardization and integrate with 3rd party for data enrichment.


  • Perform Data analysis using SQL and perform data profiling using IDQ.


  • Develop, configure and maintain the data models, hierarchies, activos workflows, match & merge survivorship rules and user interface design.


  • Develop, configure and maintain Extract Transform Load (ETL) strategies and mappings for supporting data ingestion, transformation and integration of data with upstream and downstream systems.


  • Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling mechanisms to maintain data integrity throughout the integration process.


  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems.


  Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, IICS.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


  • Strong experience in Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and CDI. Should be very good at working with API design, development, and Integration using CAI.


  • Experienced in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions using Informatica.


  • Hands on and solid experience in data analysis using SQL.


  • Excellent problem solving, communication and presentation skills.


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
