External Consultant – PR Consultants

APCO Worldwide in India began operations in 2007. Our offerings in India include Corporate Advisory, Government Relations, Strategic Communications, Coalition Building, Crises Management and Consulting Services. 
We are looking for a PR consultant having three years of experience in PR field with expertise in writing, editing, and preparing diverse subject stories, along with coordinating departmental and media relations. This will be a fixed term contract for the period of one year.
 

Key responsibilities would include:

• Write original materials and finalize them through editing and proofreading.
• Prepare written stories on various subjects, including business, industry, and diverse investment sectors such as agriculture, tourism, textiles, manufacturing, energy, medical, and health.
• Conduct comparative study reports and develop press materials.
• Coordinate with various departments and liaise with the media.
• Compiling media coverage reports regularly 
• Managing good relationships with local & national media 
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and other media personnel.
• Pitch story ideas to media outlets and manage media inquiries.
• Monitor media coverage (Regional & National)
• Collaborate with other departments to gather content ideas and feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in public relations or media organisation
