The Boeing Company’s Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization is currently seeking a high performing versatile Experienced Salesforce Developer to join the Offer to Cash product team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be joining a team responsible for configuring and maintaining the Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price Quote) solution.  The chosen candidate will play a key role in defining, designing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet the business requirements of a growing aerospace and defense company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Expertise in Salesforce configuration (For eg;)Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other platform features.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles.
• Proficiency in business process analysis and mapping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active coach and mentor focused on growing and maximizing junior architects’ potential
• Knowledge of SAFe, Agile methodology is recommended

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 7+ years of experience with implementing/supporting Salesforce applications
• 5+ years software development experience

Development and Coding:

• Utilize Apex programming language to create custom logic, integrations, and functionalities within the CPQ system to enhance quoting capabilities
• Demonstrate advanced development skills and versatility across a wide range of technical processes/solutions

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective CPQ solutions
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to work with business users to define and document technical and process requirements
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions using appropriate application development technologies

Integration with Salesforce CRM:

• Integrate CPQ with other modules such as Sales Cloud, Opportunity Management, and Contract Management to ensure data consistency and streamline workflows.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Perform thorough testing of CPQ configurations and customizations to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
• Provide assistance in designing and executing test plans
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and performing detailed analysis to resolve reported system issues

Collaboration Skills:

• Understand the implications of Salesforce configuration choices made and collaborate across agile teams to ensure a cohesive system solution
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in a team environment, manage time and priorities, be adaptable, highly flexible, and open-minded

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solution such as Salesforce CPQ
• Experience with integration between COTS Applications and external systems
• Experience in an Agile work environment
• Experience with Release Management tools
• Design/Implement solutions using Price Rules, Product Rules, Approval Rules, and Flows to meet complex business requirements while following Salesforce best practices
• Set up and configure CPQ features such as product catalogs, discounting mechanisms, quote templates, and approval workflows to match specific business needs

Education/Experience

• Typically, 8 or more year’s related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
