Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to manage and execute IRECs (International Renewable Energy Certificates) trading activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth trading operations, maintaining compliance with regulations, and maximizing profitability through effective market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
IRECs Trading Operations:
Execute and manage trades of IRECs in compliance with market regulations and company guidelines.
Monitor market trends and identify trading opportunities to optimize profitability.
Ensure timely delivery of IRECs to clients and maintain records of all transactions.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Analyze market dynamics, supply-demand trends, and pricing fluctuations in renewable energy markets.
Develop and implement trading strategies to align with company goals.
Stay updated on relevant policies, frameworks, and standards related to IRECs and renewable energy.
Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, sellers, and brokers in the IRECs market.
Collaborate with clients to understand their renewable energy certificate requirements.
Provide timely updates and reports to clients on the status of their trades.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards in IRECs trading.
Maintain accurate documentation of trades, contracts, and financial transactions.
Prepare redemption and issuance reports, as well as related certificates for clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, such as finance, operations, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of trades.
Support business development initiatives related to renewable energy products and services.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or certification in energy markets or sustainability is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of IRECs frameworks, standards (such as the I-REC Standard), and renewable energy policies.
Proficiency in using trading platforms and market analysis tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Key Deliverables:
Successful execution and delivery of IRECs trades.
Regular market analysis reports.
Accurate and timely preparation of certificates and documentation.
Client satisfaction through seamless coordination and communication.

Experience:
