• Functional/Technical Skills - Possess specialist knowledge and skills required to complete tasks and deliver results in area of responsibility and demonstrate an active interest in learning and developing technical skills. Technical knowledge and expertise in the marine services sector

PR and interpersonal skills to build contacts and relationships with principals and other stakeholders.
• Negotiating and influencing - The ability discern pertinent information and formulate an effective strategy. Present one position on issues to gain support and acceptance from others, explore possible outcomes and solutions that lead to a win-win situation, gain support of stakeholders, colleagues, suppliers, and customers to execute a desired course of action that is consistent with company goals. Negotiation skills to tactfully finalise claims and cases.

The main purpose of the job is to act as a correspondent for P & I clubs and their members.

Key Tasks

• Provide correspondent services to P&I Clubs and their members.
• Handle medical and death disability compensation matters.
• Assisting in internal company claims
• Registration, administration, and handling of claims
• Invoice management and follow-up.
