Job Description

Overview The ideal candidate will have 10-18 years of experience in Agile methodologies and hybrid delivery methods, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently. The Project Lead is responsible for guiding and supporting multiple Scrum teams to ensure the effective implementation of Agile methodologies. This role involves championing Agile practices, coaching team members, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile delivery, experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) board management, and the ability to adapt Agile practices to meet the specific requirements of complex BI reporting projects. Responsibilities Facilitating Agile Practices: Oversee the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices across multiple teams. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Guide teams in effective backlog management and prioritization to maximize value delivery. Removing Impediments: Proactively identify and remove obstacles that may block team progress. Ensure a smooth workflow and efficient delivery by addressing issues swiftly. Coaching and Mentoring: Coach Scrum Masters, team members, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices. Encourage teams to self-organize, make decisions, and embrace a collaborative work environment. Support the personal and professional growth of team members. Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in conflicts, fostering open communication and a productive working environment. Implement strategies to resolve team disagreements, align goals, and promote harmony. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with product owners, product managers, and cross-functional leadership to align on priorities. Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain the integrity of the product backlog. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Facilitating Cross-Team Collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams, especially in large-scale projects. Promote synchronized work efforts and address interdependencies across multiple teams. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key Agile metrics (e.g., team velocity, burndown charts) to track team progress and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to drive continuous development and delivery processes. Championing Agile Culture: Act as a change agent within the organization, advocating for Agile values and best practices. Encourage a culture of openness, continuous feedback, and quality-focused development. ADO Board Management: Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) boards to manage and track project tasks, user stories, and backlog items. Ensure that ADO boards accurately reflect the current state of the project, maintaining transparency and accountability. Hybrid Delivery Methods: Apply hybrid delivery methods by combining Agile and traditional project management practices to suit varying project needs. Adapt and tailor Agile practices to the unique requirements of BI reporting projects. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a bridge between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration. Provide clear, regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback and implementing best practices. Lead initiatives to enhance team performance and refine project delivery processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Scrum Master Lead, Agile Coach, or similar role. Strong understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) board management. Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to adapt Agile practices to suit hybrid delivery models and complex project requirements. Preferred: Experience in BI reporting projects or data-driven environments. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe).
