JOB PURPOSE
As an electrical engineer, this role will be responsible for benchmarking, development, operation & maintenance of all electrical systems within Plant infrastructures such as ETP, WTP, HVAC, Boiler & all Manufacturing lines. You will ensure safe, reliable & efficient delivery of electrical power to all the equipment running in plant while complying with safety & legal regulations, industry standards, & company policies.
What you need to know about this position:
Site Electricity Management & Improvement
-Ensure Smooth Operation & Maintenance of 33KV Sub Station which includes, transformers, PCC & MCC panels, DG, UPS and their auxiliary equipment.
-Ensure compliance to Electricity Board regulations e.g. annual inspection, Monthly compliance form submission of DG duty etc.
-To drive electrical energy efficiency benchmarking & improvement for site.
-Ensure smooth operation & maintenance of power backup equipment e.g. UPS, DG.
-Planning and execution of assigned improvement project
-Benchmark electrical design and identify areas of improvement.
-To ensure time-based maintenance compliance & drive reduction in downtimes due to electrical failures for site.
Cost Control
-Drive a cost effective program management to reduce reoccurring cost on repair/ replacement of electrical equipments parts.
-Reduction of Working Capital by focusing on inventory reduction
-Manage electrical design and any design changes within budget and schedule.
Prepare weekly electrical progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.
EHS support
-To ensure that all shutdown jobs are carried out through valid permit system
-Drive PS-2 ( Safe electrical systems ) Standard for site.
To ensure electrical safety as per Mondelēz Health & Safety Standards
-To ensure any m/c shutdown job is carried out with LOTO
Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Quality support
-To ensure compliance of GMPs and Quality Policy
-To maintain hygiene in work place.
-Be accountable for the QFS Performance of the Work Group
Communicate & Coordinate with Quality department to ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of Food Safety policies and procedures.
Education / Certifications:
BE/B Tech/Diploma – Electrical Engineering
Job specific requirements:
Experience : 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in food industry.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g NEC, IEC)
Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Liaising with government officials
Certifications (must have): License of Electrical Supervisor
