The Opportunity:
Executive - EHS&S is responsible for adherence to the EHS&S procedures of Panoli plant and report on non- compliance of the EHS procedures.
What we're looking for:
Education:
B E / Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) or B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry/Environment/Fire) with Diploma Industrial Safety from State Government affiliated Institute.
Experience:
7 – 10 years of experience Chemical manufacturing industry especially solvent handling companies.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in a Health, Safety & Environment department of a Chemical manufacturing company
Computer Basic.
Skills/Competencies:
Experience on handling ETP, STP, RO, MEE, INC
Should be aware of waste disposal techniques
Experience of HAZOP, LOPA, Risk register and Safety audits.
Should have liaison with the GPCB & Factory Inspector officials.
Experience to check Safety permits, quality and suitability of PPEs.
He should have experience of Safe handling of chemicals - MSDS, Electrostatic hazards, Toxic, corrosive chemicals etc.
Aware for documentation related to all norms of safety and health.
Capable to trained employees on Fire fighting.
Other Skills:
Able to Communicate in English and local language.
Able to resolve the problems at shop floor.
How you'll thrive an create an impact:
Responsible for adherence to the safety procedures with respect to chemical handling plant at the site and will report non-compliance of the safety procedures Participate in HAZOP analysis, LOPA analysis, safety audits, and risk register for all the process activities.
The incumbent is also responsible to check for compliance of the same at site. Maintain ISO and implementation of other operating system into the department.
Responsible for the efficient working of zero discharge system of waste water treatment plant and compliance to zero discharge norms.
Responsible for adherence to all statutory norms (Air, Liquid & Solid ) Maintain the stock of necessary spares, equipment and instruments required for the uninterrupted working of the department and ensure that the operating personnel use all PPEs as required.
Member of the emergency response team and will guide and train other team members in case of emergency.
Train and supervise the working of all operators working in his department Monitor and record the waste generation & disposal at the site – department wise in shifts.
Ensure regulatory compliance related to Environment Health & Safety.
Coordinate for regular health checks, safety audits, trainings at site to ensure safe working at the site for all employees Zero accidents at the site , reporting of accidents, incidents &near miss and its investigation Regular maintenance of waste water plant equipment and maintain chemical stock which utilize in waste water plant and ETP Laborarty. Compliance to statutory requirements of emissions ( Air, Liquid, Solid ) & Zero Discharge Implementation of safety procedures at site & train employees on it.

QA/QC, Production, Maintenance, Store, Commercial, HR department

ETP Contractor, GPCB, Factory Inspector, Equipment Suppliers, Waste disposal - Landfill
