A boutique, partner-led law firm with a growing corporate advisory and transactional practice is looking for a seasoned Execution Partner to anchor and expand its General Corporate vertical.
This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives on execution, is solution-oriented, and wants to be the go-to person for closing transactions and delivering high-quality legal work, without the pressure of origination.
You’ll work closely with the senior leadership and lead end-to-end deal execution — from structuring to documentation to post-closing compliance. If you’re the kind of lawyer who gets satisfaction from building clarity out of complexity and owning the delivery process, you’ll enjoy this role.
Manage and execute M&A, PE/VC, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions from start to finish
Lead drafting, negotiation, and closing of key documents (SPAs, SHAs, JV agreements, etc.)
Oversee compliance matters under Companies Act, FEMA, and other applicable regulations
Guide associates and junior team members through execution-heavy phases of deals
Liaise with clients, advisors, and regulators to ensure smooth deal flow and turnaround
Conduct legal due diligence, risk assessments, and provide actionable legal insights
Draft and review commercial contracts, corporate documents, board resolutions, and filings
Support internal process building and quality control of corporate work product
LL.B. from a recognised university
10–15 years of experience in general corporate law, with strong focus on deal execution
Prior experience in a law firm or corporate in-house legal role handling transactions
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Deep knowledge of the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations
Ability to lead teams and own client relationships on the execution side
Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple matters simultaneously
