Associate Business Director – Brand Experience EssenceMediacom, Gurgaon
Overview of job EssenceMediacom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Brand Experience Lead to join us. In this role, you will drive theEnd to End experience planning for all brands in the portfolio, including communication planning and consumer journeys.

You will be thearchitect of brand’s Big idea, based on consumer & cultural insight that willlive across multiple touchpoints including traditional media, digital- social, content, audio, on-ground activation, ad tech, influencer marketing, celebrities, out of home, shopping aisle, packaging, etc
You willguide specialist teams and external partnersin conceptualizing, developing and bringing the idea to life in the form of IPs/ Program and platforms and influencers.
You will work closely with brand’s creative partners, media teams and 3rdparty media houses to build a compelling narrative and drive project approval & closure till execution handshake.
In this role, your goals will be: In three months:
Be fully immersed in brand story, audience understanding, cultural context & best campaigns in the competitive set – nationally and globally
Developed E2E architecture for campaigns across multiple touchpoints, working with creative agency, GroupM specialists and external partners
Developed rapport with client team & within media/creative partners, working collaboratively and inspiring creative work.
In six months:
Proactively thinking on brand challenges and oppurtunities to build consumer experiences in the relevant audience set & markets
Bringing the best of media partnership/associations & be the go-to the person for the client on future/emerging experience oppurtunities
Landed 3-4 super-sized E2E projects on the large brands (IP/ Programs/ Platforms) along with regional media partnerships, award worthy innovations on individual touchpoints and as integrated campaigns.
In 12 months:
Developed a culture of every Campaign being a Brand experience led campaign with smooth integration of E2E ideas along with the media campaign.
Developed templates/frameworks and the necessary rigour to have an E2E process and case studies that can be shared nationally and globally
Created a signature experience for each brand with potential to scale in year 2.
What your day job looks like at EssenceMediacom:
Demonstrate strong understanding of brand challenges, consumers, cultural trends and regional nuances
Interpret data/tool outputs and drive story telling to develop E2E briefs on brands
Interact with diverse specialist teams, engaging them to work on your brief, curate and enhance their ideas so that they are on brief.
Mentor the team to proactively & reactively work on E2E briefs within deadlines
Communicate emerging oppurtunities and best in class work with client teams to keep them engaged and responsive

Minimum qualifications:
7-8 years’ experience in developing multi-media integrated brand solutions with blue chip clients
Good understanding of CPG brands & consumers – who shops, what drives them, how to integrate brands into their lives and drive a meaningful engagement
Strong relationship with 3rdparty media houses, networks, freelance creative community, thinkers to develop an eco-system of partners
Demonstrated strong ownership on projects to drive the best solution within deadlines bringing diverse set of people to work together on a common purpose
Excellent collaboration skills – championing the idea & the brand over everything else.
