Job Description

Join J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a Product Analyst within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific Equities team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior regional Portfolio Managers and a global network of analysts, providing valuable insights and investment recommendations in the dynamic India/GEM market.


As a Product Analyst within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific Equities team (EMAP), you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior regional Portfolio Managers, the DoRs, and the broader analyst team. Your role will involve covering a broad base of India/GEM stocks, providing timely macroeconomic, political, and company insights, and utilizing financial models for investment valuation. This role offers the chance to collaborate and communicate with a global network of J.P. Morgan Asset Management analysts, and requires a proactive, hardworking team member with a strong analytical skill set and a passion for equity research.


Job Responsibilities :


  •  Research the companies within the India/GEM space, and recommend stocks.
  •  Create and utilize financial models for investment valuation. Technical excel and modelling skills are essential.
  • Make relative value comparisons and investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a global network of J.P. Morgan Asset Management analysts.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Successful candidates should have minimum 8years of relevant investment experience; with prior experience in Equity Research
  • Key skills are analytical skill, measured investment judgement, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork, pro-active communication
  • The role requires finding new investment ideas as well as thorough understanding, valuing and maintaining coverage on existing investments
  • This is a demanding job requiring highly motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to build up their knowledge base, performance track record and credibility within the team.
  • Shift Timing: EMEA (11am to 7pm)
