BackgroundLSEG have embarked on a Finance Transformation programme, to deliver our Finance Vision and transform the way we work to create value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The Programme is driving efficiencies and maximising benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Fusion/EPM/EDM).Role ProfileJoin our Oracle CoE team as an Oracle Cloud EPM/EDMCS Jr. Developer, supporting our Finance Transformation program at LSEG, which aims to centralise our financial operations into a single cloud-based Oracle Fusion platform. Working in a fast paced and dynamic team, this role is pivotal in managing and operating master data using Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), ensuring high quality data management practices that support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function. You will partner with the Finance Team to implement and maintain the company standard Master Data used in all financial reporting, both external and internal.As an Oracle Cloud EPM/EDMCS Jr. Developer will be responsible for:Collaborate the Finance Master Data (FMD) team to understand their master data needs, aligning data management practices with overall business objectives and complying with internal and regulatory standards.EPMA and Classic Planning Applications, Maxi, Scripts, Batch Scripts, Reports, Web Forms, Business Rules.Configure Finance master data, enabling FMD to create and maintain core business dimensions in Oracle EDMCS, including the Chart of Accounts and other critical Master Data structures.Maintain the EDMCS Configuration Workbook, managing details of Environments, Applications, Dimensions and Properties.Run monthly maintenance activities including patching, approvals, workflow management, security and user access, roles and user rights assignments, dimensions, groups and properties updates, subscriptions and master data migrations across environmentsOperate processes and validations to improve efficiency and reduce potential errors using expression builders, other standard tools and complex scriptingSupport the integration of EDMCS with other Finance systems (including FCCS, PBCS & ERP) to ensure seamless data flowsDevelop and run exception reports, highlighting discrepancies and changes across different data versions to ensure master data accuracy and compliance.Knowledge/SkillsExpertise in IT Change Releases life cycle Management.Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologiesExpertise in handling and working with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved taking care of Oracle SR’s.Standout colleague, able to work with various levels in the organization across multiple time zones.Naturally inquisitive, able to think creatively and offer solutions or alternative viewpoints.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.Able to understand the basics of Oracle Cloud Fusion Apps, RMB and OICSAbility to convert functional business requirements into technical solutions.ExperienceExperience in Oracle ERP Cloud EDMCS, EPM Applications Implementation/Release Management and leading end to end operations for change control boards.Understanding of Oracle Cloud and EBS R12 / RMB ArchitectureExperience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organisation.Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud EDMCS, EPM Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.Ability to work with cross-functional Directors and global leadsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.More about LSEGLSEG champions a culture committed to the growth of individuals through continuous learning, mentoring and career growth opportunities.LSEG nurtures a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views, and experiences.
