The Enterprise Software Engineer for SFDC works with various business partners, projects managers, functional analysts, system analysts, quality assurance and production support teams to deliver on various initiatives supporting SFDC implementations and setting up the Salesforce.com support competence center. This will include translating business requirements into Salesforce.com solutions, writing detailed requirements, creating detailed design, implementing the same, and providing production support. Activities include basic system support, troubleshooting, configuration, development, general operations and maintenance of the various Salesforce platforms.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or MBA
Experience: Minimum 4-6+ years of broad Information Technology experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in documenting and writing functional solution designs and creating
detailed technical designs for Salesforce.com.
2. Minimum of 1-2+ years’ experience in creating Salesforce.com technical designs, involving configuration
setup and coding in APEX.
3. Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com functional and technical best practices and methodologies.
4. CPQ knowledge (Apttus, Steelbrick) is considered an advantage
5. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SQL and performance tuning of the same for systems utilizing RDBMS.
6. Experience in designing and implementing a test data management strategy
7. Experience in data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
8. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas,
conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
10. Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills with attention to details
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience including presentations to senior
management, peer groups and associates
12. Experience working in a team-oriented- environment demonstrating strong collaboration skills -
13. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
14. Agile project methodology experience preferred, however, experience with Scrum, Lean, or Waterfall
methodologies, are acceptable
15. Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology and procedures
16. Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience
17. Strong knowledge of organization policies and procedures
