Role Summary:This role of Engineering Support Manager is within the Risk Intelligence Engineering, LSEG Markets & Risk Engineering group. The group is responsible for the development of the technology platforms supporting key products including Connected Risk, World Check, and products in the Risk Managed Services space.The role includes managing issues, develop fixes, support releases, and perform general maintenance and administration tasks of the 3rd line technical team. Managing service requests and monitoring of services to ensure continuous service availability and performance.Ensures that all aspects of operability are delivered as part of the implementation process whilst ensuring that existing service levels are maintained or improved.Specific Responsibilities / Accountabilities:Strong technology expertise in Python, AWSDrive the team delivering the resilience Capex work mix of contractor/FTEsWorking closing with Project team & Service partners and drive efficiency in Incident Management, Change and Release management.Ensures processes are align with central teams, policy, and governance.Coordinating and management all relevant stakeholders.Ensure compliance with the Incident management processes; to ensure effective incident management and timely resolution for Corp tech applications.Provide a high level of technical expertise and support during Major incidents.Provides input to records, quality systems and management reports as required.Ensures appropriate & timely escalations when technology interests are being compromised to ensure the correct levels of management visibility.Identify & pursue opportunities for continuous improvementManage delivery of enhancements by working closely with Architects, Business, and end users.Skilled and experienced at conflict negotiation and problem-solving. Senior Stakeholder management.Ability to breakdown silos both inside and outside organization. Be able to shift opinion and use influence over positional power.
