In this position, you will get to:
- Responsible to lead Power Distribution Team/Group and Design-Engineering of Haz. & Safe area Panel Schema, Single Line Diagrams, Power distribution, Control & Monitoring and FAT activities with Quality, within budgeted cost & schedule for Electrical Heat Tracing projects.
- To manage and handle multiple projects power distribution & C&M activities within team.
- Responsible for guiding and ensuring team performance for high accuracy, schedule and budget for all projects of his team
- Responsible for training and uplifting of the team in various aspects of Panel, Power distribution, C&M & FAT.
- Responsible for co-ordination with Client, participate in client meetings.
- Responsible for co-ordination with other departments (Estimation, Procurement, Projects), suppliers and sites.
- Responsible for cost optimized design of project.
- Responsible to lead and allocate work to a team to Engineers, Designers of various level
- Understanding of Electrical, Hazardous area classifications
- Understanding client inputs, specifications, scope and to clarify required details from client.
- Responsible for follow up with Hot scope lead for creating BFD, Design Guidelines – One Note & Lynx Project Set-up
- Responsible for planning & scheduling weekly requirements & deployments related to Power distribution
- Responsible for monitoring project progress, guide & support TL to take corrective step to meet schedule
- Responsible for Approval of various detail engineering design and documentation
- Responsible for “First Time Right”
- Responsible for maximum utilization of team on Project
- Responsible for owning/supporting various development activities in the department
- To interface with other departments, clients, suppliers and sites
- To guide team members technically and in project execution
- To provide coaching, classroom training and conduct first performance review of the team
- To support Proposal for BOM and Costing when required
- Responsible for Techno-commercial optimized design & reports
- To support sales / business development when required
You have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Electrical Heat Tracing Design, Power Distribution, C&M Engineering, FAT & Field services.
- 10 years+ experience in Power Distribution, Panel, C&M, Transformer & Electrical Heat tracing engineering etc.
- Skills : Good communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
- Good Team player, Confidence, time management, Leadership Capabilities, Planning, Scheduling and reporting, Analytical & Delegation Skills
- Tools : MS-Office, AutoCAD, 3D tools knowledge (good to have)
