Job Summary
Are you a process-focused leader with a passion for excellence? Join our team as an Engineering Manager for the Product Configuration and Data Management (PC&DM) team. You will lead a dynamic global team of over 20 engineers across India, China, and Brazil, ensuring the highest quality in product configurations and Bills of Materials to drive operational excellence in our facilities.
The PC&DM team is integral to the REPS Engineering team, responsible for creating and maintaining Bills of Materials and executing engineering changes globally. This team plays a crucial role in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and maintains product configurations post-production release.


Key Responsibilities
•    Lead and manage a global team of over 20 engineers.
•    Create product configurations and Bill of Materials for gensets built across global facilities.
•    Manage engineering component data for all products and facilities.
•    Execute global engineering changes for REPS products.
•    Drive process improvements to add value and enhance efficiency and quality.
•    Own process quality gates to ensure rigorous processes and product quality. (Engineering to Order)
•    Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages knowledge sharing and best practices across the global team.

•    Technical problem-solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to product configuration, such as integration with other systems, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
•    People Management: Build a high performing, skilled, and motivated global team.
•    Customer Focus: Understand business priorities and adapt quickly to change.
•    Product Design and Development: Knowledge of NPI and product design processes.
•    Continuous Learning: A strong desire to stay updated on the latest functionalities, technologies, and best practices.


Top Candidates Will Have
•    A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant Experience:
•    At least 3 years of supervisory experience with proven technical and people leadership.
•    Excellent knowledge of product design/development and NPI processes.
•    Strong communication, emotional intelligence, listening, and collaboration skills.
•    A self-starter attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
•    Six Sigma/Lean experience (preferred).


Additional Information
This mid-level leadership role involves managing product configuration and data management for electric power gensets/energy solutions ranging from 20-2500 kVA under the Caterpillar and FGW brands. You will collaborate with various departments and work closely with our operations facilities in the US, Brazil, China, and India.
