About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for an Engineering Manager for our Exposure Management group.
This is an Engineering Manager role in the Exposure Management Content systems team responsible for designing, developing and sustaining internal systems to orchestrate, automate and validate assessments for vulnerabilities and other risks. Content includes Host and Network Vulnerability Assessment detections for CrowdStrike including vulnerability intelligence information and other sources of data used for prioritization and automation..
This person would work closely with other internal teams and product management to understand the requirements and needs on Vulnerability Management Systems capabilities for the product. They will be technically responsible for the capabilities for Exposure Management to collect, assess, enrich and export, our detections elements and artefacts.
This person would also own the team culture and will be responsible for building a strong team of contributors who work well together and raise the bar for a good working environment. This includes working across the organization and time zones for collaboration. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
The successful candidate should have had experience building and leading a team focused on building detection pipelines for vulnerabilities and other threats. Work experience in the security industry is highly desirable, including a strong understanding of some of the current prevalent products in this space.
What you'll Do:
Manage the Exposure Management Content Systems team and content validation.
Close interactions with Operations, Detections and other engineering teams to deliver capabilities with the utmost velocity
Own product content area from concept to delivery and support.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams across various physical locations including product management and other engineering disciplines.
Lead and manage other projects as assigned
What You'll Need:
Minimum 5 years of overall experience in development and at least two years in management of technology products.
Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
Security/Vulnerability content development experience preferred
Familiarity and experience with the Agile process
Experience in Cybersecurity industry
Experience of vulnerability management product development is a plus.
Extensive use of Golang /python, AWS cloud, relational databases
Ensure security and efficacy of the data
Backend engineering systems and process automation engineering
Build vulnerability management tracking capabilities by conducting analysis on data and providing reviewed content to the platform Team for product efficacy
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of System designs, development frameworks and patterns
Knowledge of Content Management Systems
Solid work experience in Golang/ Python scripting and development.
Strong database skills (MySql, MS SQL)
Exposure to AWS cloud / S3 / Splunk.
Experience and understanding of security vulnerabilities, vulnerability management and vulnerable software.
Working level understanding of sources of vulnerability information (i.e. NIST, etc.)
