The Role


As an Engineering Manager with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.


  • Delivery of Engineering within Projects and Portfolio under the specific regions
  • Provides engineering management guidance, direction, and governance within project delivery.
  • Driving sustainability growth within the region by actively engaging from proposals to delivery and developing engineering estimates for projects
  • Focus on early engagements in proposals to ensure proper alignment.
  • Responsible for the leadership and engagement of local resources in close collaboration with the Functional Leaders of Delivery .
  • Ensure delivery of engineering within projects and portfolios in line with the project expectations
  • Focus on quality, schedule, cost and HSE aspects of project delivery.
  • Focus on driving digital solutions within engineering delivery to help improve productivity.
  • Align with global expectations on engineering delivery in terms of Data Centric Engineering, Safety in Design, Value Creation, Sustainability in Design, Design one Build Many approaches with support from Functional Leaders / Section heads/ Department Managers
  • Technical and Quality Governance on engineering delivery with the help of Discipline section heads.
  • Develop upskill /reskill/ Training plan for Engineering resources with the help of discipline section heads.
  • Ensure updates of capability matrix and competency assessment to meet the project quality needs.

Metrics and KPIs


  • Ensure engineering delivery on projects in line with the project KPIs on Quality, Sustainability, Data Centric and Productivity
  • Drive Global initiatives within engineering delivery landscape with a high focus on Data centric delivery approaches.
  • Support bidding of projects with appropriate use of engineering benchmarks
  • Develop Team for fit for purpose engineering deliveries; Ensure Succession planning and IDPs of high potentials
  • Resource Forecasting and Planning

  • Inclusive and motivational leadership style with creative thinking skills and a focus on challenging norms, bringing innovation to current practices to continual evolve how we meet client needs and contribute to Worley’s financial position.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to develop high performance culture and unlock opportunities.
  • Team player and focusing on collaborative working to deliver common goal
  • Identify benchmarks and develop project plans to deliver competitive advantage
  • Act as key contact on steering committees with lead offices and facilitate positive communication.
