As Engineering Excellence Lead, Mechanical, you will bring in the required technical skills to deliver a project/ change / initiative along with the stakeholders to deliver expected results. You will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. You will plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project/initiatives to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish to deliver the targeted outcome. You will be a part manufacturing excellence team & will be working closely with Engineering & operations team to conduct gap analysis, do benchmarking, present results and work on identified solutions and track progress.


In this role, you will:


  • Be coordinating projects /initiatives activities across Enterprise Markets (EM) to help the teams in doing gap analysis, possible solution development, tracking & reporting progress.


  • Work closely with teams across EM on the OPS, DTV, Energy & other improvement workshops to coordinate the process for right goal setting, data collection, analysis & actual execution of the workshops. Sharing the BP during workshop to facilitate standardization.


  • Build a strong network inside the organization as well as with ESP/TSPs to provide cost optimized support to deliver projects in time with desired outcome. Develop Best Practices and transition them across EM in alignment withengineering stakeholders for EM markets.


  • Build a strong network of information across diverse set up in EM for engineering practices/ innovations, to keep us on speed with changing needs in external environment.


  • Support on asset platform design to improve the overall process based on the collective learnings from engineering teams & bring in resources on need basis to deliver output at right cost.


  • Have resourcefulness, problem-solving skills and the ability to build the right output to establish the gaps & action plan are essential in this role. Key stakeholders include, but not limited to engineering community at EM, Senior Leadership and Region/Mill teams.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.


  • Minimum 5-7 + years of relevant professional experience in which 3+ years in a manufacturing process improvement/ projects role in Personal Care assets.


  • Previously demonstrated ability to successfully execute regional or functional projects with proven business results.


  • Good interpersonal and communications skills to motivate & coordinate a diverse group of team members.


  • Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic and developing domain.


  • Experience and expertise in engineering stream, problem solving, process design & optimization, digital systems exposure is preferred.


  • Bring the outside in, industry knowledge, trends, TSPs /OEMs capability knowledge as well as internal capabilities.


  • Must be willing to travel approximately 20%, some of which is international.
