Engineering Administrator

Purpose of Role:Join our Engineering team as the Engineering Administrator, within the Mine Dewatering Solutions division, contributing to both product and order engineering activities. This role involves managing and executing design and engineering tasks, developing mine dewatering pumping solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end product and order engineering for mine dewatering pumping solutions.


  • Design and develop dewatering pumps and solutions.


  • Create and review CAD 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings.


  • Manage ETO projects for dewatering pump solutions.


  • Collaborate with global product teams and stakeholders.


  • Oversee drawings and document control through the ECN process.


  • Drive engineering project management, including planning, execution, organization, control, and closure.


  • Conduct technical discussions with vendors and customers for project and complaint resolutions.


  • Create BOMs and part codes in SAP/GPDM Teamcenter PLM.


  • Support cross-functional teams in project execution, manufacturing, and IMS audits.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering


  • Proven experience and knowledge in design or order engineering of rotary machines/rotating equipment.


  • Proficient in 3D modeling and drafting, with hands-on experience in Siemens Unigraphics NX (Autodesk Inventor experience is a plus).


  • Experience with PLM systems, specifically GPDM Teamcenter.


  • Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to create detailed manufacturing drawings for fabrication, castings, and forgings.


  • Experience with material selection and analysis and knowledge of steel structure and piping fabrication.


  • Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y 14.5) in drawings.


  • Cross-functional collaboration experience in project management


  • Well-versed with MS Office package - MS Excel, PowerPoint
