The Safety Professional in Wind Farm is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the work environment adheres to legal and company safety standards. The role involves assessing and mitigating risks, implementing safety programs, and conducting training to promote a culture of safety within the wind farm operations including customer requirements

The Regional Compliance Officer will be responsible for working directly with SGRE stakeholders within the assigned region. The incumbent will be a primary compliance resource with responsibilities of measuring stakeholders' Compliance and Anti-Fraud programs; driving training and awareness initiatives; and providing guidance and support. Will partner and liaison with business unit representatives to ensure that all policies and controls are practical, efficient and workable; captures SGRE policies and expectations, as well as regulatory requirements.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the wind farm site.
  • Identify potential hazards and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer contracts, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide safety training and education to all employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with site management to integrate safety into operational processes.
  • Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics and reports.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

What you need to make a difference:


  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Min 05 – 07 years of work experience in  Renewable / Wind industry.
  • Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
  • Strong English written and verbal communication.
  • Flexibility to travel.
