Main responsibilities:
Special Process Coordinator: Bonding, Painting & Surface treatment
- Design review
- Checking and verification of the adhesive bond
- Material/adhesive selection and testing
- Bonding Material – Testing Suitability, Surface Pretreatment Selection, Delivery Conditions, Marking, Storage, Handling and Traceability
- Adhesives – Qualification, Manufacturing Conditions, Marking, Storage and Handling
- Examination of subcontracting
- Production planning or its testing
- Testing of facilities
- Determination of bonding work processes
- Process Qualification: Special Process qualification and validation.
- Testing of adhesive joints
- Evaluation of adhesive and sealing seams
- Evaluation of shear fracture images
- Documentation
- Examination of production documents
- Facilitate production and testing of sample parts / small series for external and internal customers on behalf of sales, application technology and chemical development.
- Monitoring of special processes
- Preparation of work instructions for bonding, Painting & surface treatment processes
- Identification and elimination of process defects in the processing of adhesives
- Carrying out operational tests for the introduction of new products/ Formulation in cooperation with the product developer and production.
- Documentation and transparent presentation of development results and project status.
- Coordination of the further development steps with the Head of Engineering and the departments involved in the development and production process
- Cross-departmental communication to coordinate the measures for the production transfer of new developments.
- Feasibility assessments of alternative production processes.
- Collaboration in the optimization of process data acquisition and evaluation.
- Co-ordinate for special process management.
- Support of QA in the analysis of quality deviations in the production process.
Process Engineering
- Performs methods Engineering analysis including process design and development.
- Procedural description and definition of the process parameters in work instructions.
- Production scrap parts: Troubleshooting and tracking in collaboration with QS and IE.
- Support of IE (Industrial Engineering) in tool design and optimization.
- Documentation of the tests in process engineering reports, database and reports to the head of chemical development.
- Responsible for ensuring an understanding of the current Manufacturing processes within the value stream, working in collaboration with the value stream network for improvement
- Establishes standard Norms across all operation process.
- Establishes and maintains performance measurement and control documents associated with PPAP/PFD/ PFC, AIS/ work standards, learning curves and man / machine performance
- Verifies the process with actual time/motion studies.
- Strictly adhered to ERP system.
- 5S, continuous improvements using various IE techniques.
- Support trial and prove out tools.
- Support production to establish and improve time standards for new and existing products.
- Implementation of ECN/New requirements in manufacturing
- Performing and other duties, which our company reasonably requires
- Execution of TOT/TOP/New Projects.
