Job Title: Engineer / Senior Engineer - NBS Installation Admin



What will you be doing?



NBS Admin Tasks


  • Renewal of the installation subcontractor agreements within the expiry dates.
  • Preparing & sending intimation letters to customers prior three month of price validity dates.
  • Issuing installation and framework POs to vendors as and when required.
  • Support FL with SAP data, invoices, vendor PO as and when required.
  • MS 5 updation after V1-V2 approval for all jobs along with LC updation.
  • Maintaining the safety tools and landing barricade movement register except tirak movement.
  • Sending invoices to customers.
  • Co-ordinating the unloading activities when elevator material reaches site.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Initiating New subcontractor's new registration for elevator erection and other related work belongs to lift installation in Kolkata NEB. Also following up same to HO for various business-related activities. Also taking care of issues related to vendors and resolve the same in consultation with HO Team.
  • Maintaining Kone Way process for implementation and harmonization in Kolkata Branch by way of MS Updation, Creation of PR-PO. Etc.
  • Also assist ISC / PO team at HO for their day-to-day needs. Vendor Bills in my portal to be monitored / reviewed and also release the same without delay. Also taking care and fullest support of Installation team for their day-to-day various requirement/activities for smooth branch operation and achieving their budget
  • Support provided to satellite branches of East for any SAP related issues and also resolve the same immediately as and when required.
  • Initiating NPI/CLS activities every year by communicating and educating of each customer about the CLS activities and provide good score to achieve NPI/CLS score. Also sending request letter to all the customers prior to CLS activities and also sending thanks letter to all the interviewed customers.
  • Support provided to Kolkata MOD and Service Department for their day-to-day activities as and when required.
  • Taking care of all office administrative work related to Kolkata branch on a day to day requirement in consultation with Branch Manager - Kolkata & Regional Director – East.
  • MS5 request submission/updation through KPM tool every month end for completing CC sale and vendor bills to be sent to HO on a daily basis through KPM for decreasing burden rate to achieve branch R-80 and follow up for making payment to vendors on time.
  • Taking care of all the activities / requirements of Branch Manager’s day to day activities for smooth branch operation.
  • Taking care of customers belongs to complaints received in Kolkata NEB by way of verbal communication, sending mails and registered post for resolving the issue.
  • Sending letter to the customers intimating material requirement prior to price validation of the contract, completion of interfacing work to complete our installation work in time and hand over the same to customer for beneficial use.
  • Assisting to our Regional HR team for their day-to-day activities as and when required.
  • Assisting our Govt License Executive team of Kolkata for their day to day activities   belongs to lift license related work / issues and resolve the same.
  • Assisting NEB sales, Kolkata Team as and when required for smooth operation.
  • Assisting Finance Team, Kolkata as and when their requirement.
  • Renewal of the installation subcontractor agreements within the expiry dates.
  • Issuing installation, framework PR, Safety Related PR., PR for Testing, Calibration of Tirak Tool for vendors as and when required.
  • Sending invoices to customers with supporting documents.
  • Maintaining the safety tools and landing barricade movement register.
  • Co-ordinating the unloading activities when elevator material reaches site of Tirak Movement.
  • Arranging travel tickets for business trips for Branch team as and when required.
