Job Description

Description of the Job- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Experienced and understanding in engineering basic, Product/Process development process, Mfg. workflow is must.
  • Should have ability to read and review technical drawing, specification, and process document. 
  • Should be able to create process Work instruction and procedure from process design, drawing and specification document. 
  • Should perform and execute the risk assessment using the tools like PFMEA, DRBFM, DFMEA and other quality tool. 
  • Able to communicate within CFT team for task completion/Follow-up, change implementation status.
  • Supports and work with different departments regarding the process changes implementation and technical alignment.
  • Work close with customer/Global team for technical discussion, process optimization, Engineering implementation, technical alignment. 
  • Provides the required training for the processes under their responsibility and performs continuous improvement activities.
  • Participate and execute the RCCA meeting for defect reduction project, process failure project through 8D tool.  
  • Develops and implements manufacturing methods in accordance with the customer's product design and technical specifications,
  • Coordinates manufacturing phases during the commissioning phase of a new product, analyses possible manufacturing problems, determines temporary solutions, monitors, and approves the implementation thereof, Identifies and implements preventive measures and evaluates their long-term outputs to stop the encountered problems from reoccurring,
  • Regular sharing of the draft plan for implementing the changes and the relevant details with the customer
  • Validates the non-compliance reports created by the quality department, determines the method of repair, follows up the repairs,
  • Reports to the customer regarding the non-compliance reports created by the quality department for the ones outside of the scope of standard repair procedures, determines the proper repair method, implements the repair upon the response and approval of the customer,
  • Executes cost-reduction and VAVE activity like qty reduction, Material change, Cycle time reduction, waste optimization.  
  • Attends risk management activities and informs their manager on possible elements of risk,
  • Is responsible for the implementation and improvement of the 5S cleanliness and order system in their areas of responsibility.
  • Follows, implements, and ensures compliance with instructions, procedures and notifications on health, safety, environment, and security,
  • Ensures that the objectives and targets within the scope of the EYS policy are achieved,
  • Ensures the execution of activities under the department in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management Systems, annually agrees with the department manager on objectives based on the performance evaluation program and works accordingly,
  • Performs all Procedures, Protocols, Instructions, Standards and Plans set out by the EYS within the framework of the company's integrated policies, acts in accordance with the "Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics" and "TPI Management Principles and Ethical Decision-Making System",
  • Annually agrees with the department manager on objectives based on the performance evaluation program and works accordingly,
  • Acts in accordance with TPI Composite Business Principles in performing the tasks.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

Education


  • A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in engineering in Mechanical, Polymer, and composites.

Work Experience


  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in Wind industry in process Engineer role (for B.E candidate)
  • Preferably 7+ years of experience in Wind industry in process Engineer role (for Diploma candidate)

Foreign Language/Grade


  • English (Good)
