Job Description

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the Instrumentation activities, such as Preparing BOM, Identifying and selecting the suitable components, field wiring ,and equipment qualification support from Instrumentation

The Engineer will be responsible for conducting research and development activities for the organization. The holder of this position will be applying research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities. The goal of the Engineer is to summarize research results and communicate the findings to internal and external stakeholders.


Main Responsibilities & Tasks:


  • Ensure the release of instrumentation deliverables like BOM,NT MCL, electrical documents in time.


  • Knowledge on the Good wiring Practices and cable selection as per the global safety standards


  • Support efforts to verify and validate new product designs


  • Installation, Integration and commissioning of control cabinets at customer sites.


  • Apply design to cost and design for manufacturability methods to support project leaders in achievement of project objectives


  • Contribute as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner


  • Support the organization's intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that results from experimentations and concept generation activities


  • Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company's procedures and corresponding regulations


Qualification & Skills:


  • Academic degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical or instrumentation


  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in product selection and development with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle


  • Able to identify, break down and solve a variety of difficult technical problems


  • Strong aptitude for hands-on engineering testing


  • Disciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, and test methods)


  • Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulations


  • Knowledge of statistical methods and analysis


  • Team player with good communication skills
