Job Description

As an Engineer I you will be responsible for Building File-based and API based integration, designing Micro Services, streaming data through Kafka/flink to name few of the interesting work you will be involved in.

You will function as member of an Agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices, participate in code reviews, Quickly debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation.

You’ll apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders to stay focused on common goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS or CSE or Equivalent.
• 6+  years of software development experience in a professional environment.
• Strong OOPs concepts, concurrency, exception handling etc.
• Data structures and Algorithms, Strong OS fundamentals, Advanced Java concepts
• Strong development experience using languages Java and Python. Keen understanding of how to build highly performant systems with such languages.
• Hands on experience in building distributed micro-service systems. 
• Good knowledge of databases like Sql server and Postgres. Should be comfortable in writing complex queries. 
• Experience in distributed technologies including Java, Spring, APIs (REST), JSON, XML, Kafka, JDBC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JUnit, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub
• Experience working in DevOps teams and Scrums.
• Hands on experience in Big Data technologies including Python, Hadoop, Spark and SparkSql is a plus
• Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
