Job Description

Description of the Job- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Performs his/her job in compliance with all the Procedures, Protocols, Instructions, Standards and Plans set out by the IMS in the framework of the company's integrated policies, acts in compliance with the "Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics" and "TPI Management Principles and Ethical Decision-Making System",
  • Follows, implements and ensures compliance with all the instructions, procedures and announcements published on health, safety, environment and security,
  • Ensures that the objectives and targets within the scope of the IMS policy are achieved,
  • Ensures that the department works are conducted in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management Systems,
  • Travel to various Windmill sites to diagnose problems involving wind turbine blades damages and defects.
  • Climb wind turbine towers to inspect, maintain, or repair wind turbine rotor blades
  • Climb equipment or structures to access work areas.
  • Troubleshoot or repair mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions related to Rotor blade and components associated in wind turbine 
  • Troubleshoot equipment or systems operation problems.
  • Repair green energy equipment or systems.
  • Maintain tool and spare parts inventories required for repair, installation, or replacement services.
  • Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products.
  • Perform routine maintenance on wind turbine blades, inspection and reporting.
  • Prepare cost estimation for the repair summary and Repair quotation.
  • Develop formats and prepare service reports for different service activities as per the customer requirement.
  • Planning and co-ordination of service activities at site.
  • Planning Material requirement/tools & equipment requirement at site and same to be shipped to site.
  • Co-ordinate for customer for various activities.
  • Good command over the communication with internal stake holder and customer.
  • Ensure safety and follow standard EHS practice for site.
  • Ensure adherence to the quality standards by the service technicians while working at site. 
  • Prepare SOP for repairs, if required co-ordinate with the customer and Plant Engineering team.
  • Train technicians in blade repairs, Sop and other technical requirements.
  • Train others in operational procedures.
  • Collect blade repair data for analysis and future planning.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

Education & Requirements


Graduation- Engineering or Diploma, Good in MS Office



Work Experience


Engineering – 4+ Years, Diploma – 7+ Years.



Foreign Language/Grade


English (Good)
