Role
Engineer – Implementation Specialist
Experience
1 – 3 years
Responsibilities:
• Receive work assignments (via Jira tickets) from Solutions Delivery and/or Customer Support
• Create (or modify/update) custom design-spec floor maps in Adobe Illustrator using DWG and/or vectorized PDF input files.
• Work closely with network engineers, software developers, and automation teams to ensure seamless integration of IoT devices with other building systems.
• Ensure all design tasks are completed on time and meet project requirements.
• Identify and address potential issues or improvements in the IoT setup based on initial tests and user feedback.
• Create (or modify/update) configurations of end user app based on custom configuration specifications
• Regularly update reports on project status, design changes, and issues encountered during implementation.
• Keep abreast of the latest IoT technologies, protocols, and best practices to ensure the design follows industry standards and supports scalability.
Candidate Profile:
• Proficiency in Design Tools: Must possess strong knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD, for creating and configuring design features.
• Technical Expertise: Must have a good understanding of hardware and software integration processes related to design, including sensors and IoT architecture.
• Project Management Skills: Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce (SFDC).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple design tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Self-motivation: Self-organizing and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Continuous Improvement: Ability to work on identified continuous improvement plans to enhance team performance.
• Work Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work in rotational shifts.
Good to have:
• Experience with lighting control systems fixture integration in commercial installations
• Familiarity with the enterprise applications and design features.
• Experience on Adobe Illustrator is an added advantage.
