Emission Engineer
Description
This entry level exempt shop or office management position supervises technicians mainly in one of the following environments: Laboratory, Drafting/Product Configuration, Functional Excellence, or Engineering IT, and works primarily with internal customers to understand their requirements and allocates appropriate resources to meet those requirements that most often involve the delivery of data and/or information.
Supervises technicians in an assigned test area and allocates appropriate resources to meet customer needs.
Works primarily with internal customers to understand their needed support requirements and engages collaboratively to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
Applies basic knowledge of engineering or managerial principles and seeks help/guidance to learn established work processes and systems
Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role
Ensures equipment used in the work environment is traceable and technicians have proper training.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
Demonstrated aptitude is required. College, university, or equivalent Associate's degree or certification in an appropriate STEM field is preferred.
Equivalent Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline area may be required for select roles.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Preferred candidates would have relevant experience working in a laboratory/test cell environment such as a non-exempt role, temporary student employeeship, co-op, or other similar activities or roles.
Emissionoperations shift coordinating with number of responsibilities assigned likeshift handover, ensuring team is engaged at right work, aligning with testopsand taking priority call, shift report publishing, ensuring inventory of spares, ensuringmaintaining PM lab correctness.. etc
PAM dataand Emission test report retrieving, data analysis and data related issuetrouble shooting by using FTA, 7step analysis tools.
Lookingafter lab’s Quality: Ensuring monthly measures are compiled and published,document control, updating required documents in QSi database, maintainingCAPA, conducting weekly Audits.. etc
Leading TBWS as a facilitator of emissionlab.
Equipment relatedissues resolution. Responding to customer’s query.
Representingemission team in daily meeting.
To update Dataquality issue in TIPS database with 7step analysis.
Emissionequipment readiness, verifying correctness and test conducting during enginecertification trials like ARAI tests, Certification test by KMOE, VCA,JMLIT..etc.
5S and Safetyaudit of emission lab.
