Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, as an office-based Account Executive at Databricks, you have relevant experience penetrating territories at scale. As a successful candidate, you are a self-starter who understands the consumption sales process. You know how to sell innovation and value to existing customers, identify new use cases, grow consumption, and guide deals forward to compress decision cycles. You love understanding a product in depth and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners.


The impact you will have: 


  • Assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy 
  • Identify new use case opportunities and promote the value of the Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform to existing customers/prospects
  • Exceed activity and quarterly net new customer targets
  • Drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in existing/new accounts
  • Track all customer details, including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Collaborate and execute programs with our ecosystem of partners for scale
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers

What we look for:


  • Min 1-2 years experience in direct sales 
  • Relevant software sales experience with a consumption-based sales motion
  • Understanding of big data, data platforms, cloud ecosystems, and business value
  • Experience exceeding sales targets/quotas
  • Success closing new accounts while working on existing accounts
  • Passion for cloud technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
