Role Summary:


Electrical Engineer is primarily responsible to support all functional areas of Flowserve with regards to digital/electrical products and smart valve technology, troubleshooting returned digital/electrical products, and interacting directly with customers and R&D team to finalize the RCA reports.


Responsibilities:


· Evaluate issues that arise in production of digital/electrical products (positioner and electrical actuators) and drive resolution.


· Provide support in evaluating failed digital/electrical products returned from the field.


· Evaluate and adopt the latest in new digital/electrical technology and research when applicable.


· Work on a team to design, model, fabricate and test new process systems and test systems in a thorough and timely manner.


· Assist manufacturing with new production and provide Engineering with documentation for bills of material, product support and product line extensions.


· Provide technical assistance to Sales and Marketing for new digital products.


· Provide technical support to production and field support of new and redesigned products throughout the product life cycle.


· Provide technical support to all functional areas of Flowserve with regards to digital/electrical products and smart valve technology


· Maintain & support upgrade of digital/electrical product test setup and equipment’s.


Requirements:


· BE/BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation from four-year college or university with minimum experience of 5years in relevant field.


· Good Communication skills sets (orally and in written form) is an essential requirement.


· Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on electromechanical system and products.


· Ability to determine the root cause of electrical failures and generate Root Cause analysis reports.


· Ability to create corrective action plans and drive the corrective actions to completion including implementing control plans.


· Ability to manage the progress of a corrective action in a timely manner and update the status of the corrective action in a corrective action tracking system.


· Ability to learn from failure trends in the field and in production and work with R&D team to improve the current designs of products.


· Knowledge of the FMEA process and willingness to participate in FMEA sessions and action items that result from the FMEAs.


· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


· Ability to plan, schedule, and execute tasks and initiatives.
