The Role


As an Electrical Designer Level I  with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….


  • Execution of Electrical design, drafting and 3D modelling tasks relating to oil & gas offshore platforms and onshore projects.
  • Able to work independently on Electrical substation layouts, electrical room layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts for Oil & Gas offshore.
  • Able to perform cable tray fill calculations independently.
  • Must have working experience with IEC, NEC, IEEE Electrical standards as minimum.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance from lead designer or lead engineer.
  • Check compliance with QA / safety/ environment goals.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
  • Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues related to 3D modelling and layouts

About You


  • 7+ years of experience in the design and drafting of onshore oil and gas facilities.
  • Experience in 3D Modelling of all Electrical Equipment, Cable tray and supports, Lighting fixtures, extraction of drawings from 3D Model and preparing Electrical deliverables.
  • Familiarization in S3D/E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation is required.
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Design / Drafting; with a preference for an Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
