Job Description

General Profile: Fully demonstrates in-depth knowledge and experience. Assigned as a resource for colleagues with less experience including as a coach/mentor. Works independently, receives guidance in only moderately complex situations.


Core Competencies:


1.     Design Electrical circuits


2.     Perform Load calculation


3.     Component selection


4.     Hands on experience Electrical Software E3s or equivalent


5.     Understanding of IO based Controllers, CIOC, Distributed IO etc.,


6.     Understanding of Electrical Standards UL508A, NFPA79, NEC, SEMI etc.


Key Responsibilities


1. Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope.


2. Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision.


3. Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports with limited supervision.


4. Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision.


5. Technically lead and/or executes engineering projects, including development of key suppliers


6. Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions of difficult scope.


7. Generate electrical product specifications.


8. Specify and review engineering documentation.


Good to have:


1.     Communication Protocols: Ethercat, TCP/IP, Modbus RS485 and Modbus TCP/IP


2.     PLC: Beckhoff PLC + Twin CAT Software


3.     Software: LabVIEW (Basic Level)


4.     Programming: C and C++


5.     SCADA, HMI/MMI, Datalogging


6.     Basic understanding of servers


7.     Servo motion control


8.     CAD modelling  Auto-Desk-Inventor, UG-NX etc.,
