How you’ll spend your day
- Single Point of EHS Contact for production, Warehouses
- Responsible to guide and support Production and warehouse department safety champions
- Complete Process hazard analysis for all the identified high hazard processes as per the schedule. Prepare risk mitigation plan and track the implementation status
- Subject Matter Expert ( SME) for the following EHS standards / Site SOP:
- Process safety management
- Machine and Equipment safety
- Control of Hazardous Energy
- Training and competency
- Fire and Explosion Prevention
- Fall prevention and Protection
- Material Handling, Storage and Housekeeping
- Dangerous Goods Classification and Transportation
- Periodic walk though audits in production and warehouses to identify risks
- Conduct departmental safety meetings on periodical basis
- Exercising controls over critical operation like solvent handling, forklift (certification)
- Prepare and motivate employees for following the safety rules and procedures to achieve good EHS performance
- Improve the safety culture at shop floor my motivating the employees to report maximum unsafe acts/Conditions, Near Misses and incidents in production
- Timely completion of incident investigations and tracking the CAPA implementation for production and warehouse department
- Publish monthly training calendar and track the compliance
- Track EHS objectives on the name of self, prepare action plan for timely completion, track on regular basis and successful completion
- Data integrity compliance – to ensure compliance to the requirements of policy and procedures on data integrity
- Initiation, review, and impact assessment of Quality management systems such as change controls, temporary changes, CAPAs etc.
- Handling of Training related activities as Department Training Coordinator for EHS department
- Handling of change control, CAPA, Deviations through track wise harmony
- Handling of Glorya EDMS for SOP management
- Assigning Trainings through Studium Learning Management to all department and working as administrator.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (any stream) / Bachelor of science (Chemistry and Fire Technology) + Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / PSM NEBOSH
- Recognized Safety Officer from AICTE preferably from Goa Factories and Boilers
- 2 to 8 of Years
