Job Description

The role of the Editorial Researcher - Statistics involves carrying out research using online sources and international databases, to update the numerical content of the Europa World, which covers political and economic information on all the countries and territories of the world. The online version of the book can be viewed at www.europaworld.com.



Qualifications
  • Strong numerical aptitude and preferably a Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Aptitude for online research and data collection
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and a fine eye for detail
  • Interest in world affairs and proficiency in any international language would be added advantage
  • Experience in research or publishing would be preferable, though not essential.
  • Candidates from any other discipline with the requisite numerical aptitude would also be considered.

Additional Information

Location:  This role is based at our India - New Delhi office. You must have the right to work and live in India. 


The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our office in Delhi, to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours with an expectation for a minimum of 2 days per week spent working from an office.


Internal candidates will be eligible to continue their current working arrangements.
