OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

As a Junior AtScale Admin, you will be responsible for managing the platform, ensuring secure access, and optimizing the environment.

You will work closely with our data analytics and business intelligence teams in empowering them to analyze data and build reports and dashboards.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Admins are responsible for defining and assigning roles to users based on their needs which involves setting up roles such as Viewer, Analyst, and Admin, and customizing     permissions to ensure users only have access to relevant data.
• Ensure secure login mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO) or integration with enterprise security systems. Configure and maintain these authentication protocols.
• Investigate issues related to data load failures, connectivity problems, or performance bottlenecks, and work with the relevant teams to resolve them
• Integrate the AtScale platform with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and ensure users can connect these tools to the data models seamlessly
• Set and enforce access policies around data sets and reports, ensuring that sensitive information is protected
• Ensuring that data governance standards are followed. This involves managing data lineage and ensuring that metadata is accurate, which helps in auditing and compliance.
• Implement Automation tools and scripts to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
• Implement existing data security policies for data analytics irrespective of the location of the data.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: 

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years hands on experience on AtScale platform.
• Strong knowledge on platform's data models, user access, performance, and overall governance
• Expereicne with Automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self motivated and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have skills and experience:

• Support Management following ITIL process standards.
• Knowledge of data support activities
• Experience with SDLC methodology, i.e  tasks like develop test cases, execute test plans etc.
