Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good functional knowledge of UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, US, and Canada Payroll
  • Production support for US and Canada Employee Central Payroll
  • Ability to strategiccally support the current team as more countries implement Employee Central Payroll across different time zones
  • Good understanding of Employee Central Payroll to support UK, Ireland, US, and Canada Payroll
  • Hands-on experience in the configuration of Employee Central Payroll, especially for UK, Ireland, US, and Canada, to fix bugs, handle change requests, and make enhancements
  • Hands-on experience in the configuration of Payroll Control Center
  • Strong knowledge of P2P integration (Point to Point) replication, Employee Central Payroll, Delustering, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of USA payroll, legal requirements, vacation premiums, CFDI, social insurance, and other legal reporting requirements
  • Good experience in modifying/creating payroll and time PCR and schemes
  • Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues in a hands-on manner
  • Involved in unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing
  • Assist with performing monthly system testing as new patches/fixes are applied (i.e., Employee Central Payroll)
  • Good understanding of standard SAP integrations with Employee Central Payroll
  • Experience in maintaining large-scale enterprise applications, ensuring stability, uptime, and seamless operational efficiency of the end-to-end payroll process for Employee Central Payroll to support UK, Ireland, US, and Canada
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, influencing change, and driving end-to-end user journey-based solution design
  • Experience in creating/influencing roadmaps and a good understanding of human resources and payroll processes
  • Experience in agile product delivery
  • Problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal) that reflect structured, clear, and objective thinking

You will join McKinsey's Tech Ecosystem organization at our Gurugram/Bengaluru office as a core member of the Product Management function, committed to solving problems for McKinsey colleagues using technology. You will work with teams in our technology hubs (Atlanta, Waltham, New York, Gurgaon, Bangalore, and Prague), serving colleagues all over the globe. You will work closely in teams alongside experts in various disciplines—designers, engineers, security, and more. Together with the team, you will relentlessly strive to deliver outcomes that matter.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Manager, you will play a leading role in maintaining and supporting the current solution on Employee Central Payroll for UK, Ireland, US, and Canada Payroll, including all aspects related to security compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability of the platform, proactively solving issues, and ensuring the operational efficiency of the end-to-end process in partnership with business stakeholders.  
You will also be responsible for partnering with other stakeholders across business and technology to set a shared vision, understand user value, and prioritize work. To do this well, you will develop a deep understanding of the problem you are solving, the users, and the solution space. In partnership with key stakeholders and your team, you will set ambitious and clear goals that will deliver high-quality user experiences and outcomes.
To help you and your team achieve meaningful outcomes, you will receive expert support from various stakeholders, such as business and other product teams.
